1) Eligibility (18+ Only)

Akcru is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the App or knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

2) Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

Account Information — display name, email address, profile details, preferences, and settings.
Usage & Activity — content you view or interact with, likes, follows, comments, matchmaking preferences and matches, watch‑party participation, and in‑app actions.
Device & Log Data — IP address, device identifiers, operating system, app version, language, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data.
Approximate Location — derived from IP or device settings to localize features, comply with rights requests, and support advertising/analytics.
Payment & Subscription Data — transaction details processed by third parties such as Google Play Billing or Stripe (we do not store full payment card numbers).
Advertising Identifiers — mobile advertising IDs and similar technologies used to deliver and measure ads.
User Content — posts, comments, ratings, messages, and media you upload.

3) How We Use Information

Provide and operate the App, including streaming, social, matchmaking, and watch‑party features.

Show and measure advertising, including frequency capping and fraud prevention.
Monitor and improve performance, fix bugs, and enhance security.
Communicate with you about updates, new features, and support.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

4) Advertising, Analytics & Third Parties

We may work with third‑party partners to provide infrastructure, analytics, payments, and advertising. These partners may process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Advertising: Google AdMob / IMA SDK and similar partners (see Google Ads & cookies).
Payments: Google Play Billing and/or Stripe (see Stripe Privacy Policy).
Backend & Hosting: Supabase (see Supabase Privacy Policy).
Other Providers: content delivery, crash reporting, or analytics services as needed.

You can manage interest‑based advertising via your device settings (limit ad tracking / reset ad ID) and platform controls.

5) Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

Service providers who help operate the App under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
Legal and safety authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security of users and the public.
Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (where permitted by law).

6) Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

7) Your Rights & Choices

Access/Update: You can view and update certain account information in the App.
Delete Your Data: You may request deletion of your account/data by contacting us at support@akcru.com. We will honor requests as required by applicable law.
Ads Controls: Use device and platform settings to control interest‑based ads.
Permissions: Manage app‑level permissions in your device settings.

8) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we implement safeguards to protect personal information in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws.

10) Children

Akcru is for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 and will delete such information if discovered.

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you within the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
